I can't help but feel disappointed with this song somewhat. It seems as if you took this too far in the direction of "Lost Forever", the last Dubstep song you produced. I know that the chord sequence and key are different, yet it has an element of being recycled to it.

The synths are way too generic for my taste, try experimenting with the fx channels, you can really change up the sounds a lot. I know that you like the way the synths sound, and I respect that, but wouldn't it be nice to reach out of your comfort zone once in a while? Your fans would certainly appreciate it.

As for reviewing the rest of the song, I really like the ambient clicking sound towards the end of the track! Reminds me of clickers from "The Last of Us".

As a standalone song, it's good. I can't help but wonder what could have been if you tried to do a few things different. That's why you're just falling short of the 4-5 stars. Also the kick and snare aren't balanced quite right, yet I know how painstaking the process is so I'll let you off. Good work as always, you keep getting better!

Till next time!

Thankyou for the review! I will try to make my synths less generic next time and I'll also try not to let it sound like "Lost Forever".

I'm slightly unsure of the direction you were going for with this preview. Maybe it would benefit from a bit more structure when (or if) you decide to finish the song off.

It's atmospheric and weird, and certainly different from what you usually produce.

Till next time!

Everratic responds:

Thankyou for the review. There will be a lot more structure if I complete the song. When I make previews, I just play most of my patterns at the same time with out focusing on structure.

This is my new favourite song.

You should send this to VirtualStylerz ;D I like it, but the melodies did make me cry over the course of the song due to how intense they were D: (especially around 2:02)

Apart from that, you made a great remix! Well done.

Till next time!

Everratic responds:

VirtualStylerz already knows about the remix. He sent me the melody.
Thankyou for the review and compliment!

The abrupt intro is awesome dude, I like it! The melodies are sick and dirty, even though this sounds generic, I don't care!

Made me dance, which is quite impressive since i'm a lazy f*%@

Till next time!

Everratic responds:

Thankyou for the review. I know it sounds generic, but it's a remake so I wanted it to sound similar.

I like the sound of the synths you use, it seems as if you're already getting your own style!

I think the random transitions work yet don't work at the same time, i'm on the fence about those.

Good job, till next time!

Everratic responds:

Thankyou for the review! The sounds of those synths are the result of me not knowing how to use synthesizers that well lol.

Now this is what i'm talking about! You're changing your style up completely, and it's really shown.

The painstaking process of getting kicks and snares right is felt by all your fellow producers, I'm glad you got the balance right!

Overall a great song, I can't really critique it as such because it sounds so complete!

Till next time!

Everratic responds:

Thankyou! This review made me very happy.

I like the intro man, it's really quite funky! I'm not going to rate anything less than 5 stars since the vocal sounds really hard to work with, and you did a great job.

I think that a bass drop would have been better for this song, The synth Is still great and hits hard, but it's only a taste difference! If you prefer the synth drop then keep it, since it's still awesome in it's own right.

I could easily hear this song in a club scene, which is why i'm going to give it 5 stars!

Great work, till next time!

This is quite the happy song, isn't it? Although it's repetitive, dance songs are expected to be!

Nice transitions, maybe you could try and vary them a little more? It's the small things that make a difference i've found.

I agree with TheDoor6, try and mix up your genre and aim for something different! If you end up swerving towards dance songs, how about making a slower and more emotional song? That way i'm sure you won't deviate towards that kind of music!

Good job, maybe you should work on a project for longer? I know that since i've dedicated more time to music, the projects I have currently are so much higher quality now! You could combine all the hours you spend on three songs and make something really awesome!

Anyway, it's your profile and your choice. Don't let people sway you if you really strive to produce loads of content!

Till next time!

Everratic responds:

Thankyou for the review! Im actually working on a slow and emotional dubstep song now. I am working on most of my songs longer, just not this one.

This is immense. Continue working on this when you feel inspired, don't force it through! When you do visit this again, make the kick a tad punchier! (Or at least when the drop kicks in)

There are too many dubstep songs that forget the kick in the mix entirely, please don't let that happen to this brilliant piece!

Good work, i've added you to my favorites.

I'm a microscopic fish in a humungous, titanic sized ocean. Please listen to my music with open ears and provide whatever feedback you can, every review helps! Be sure to add me to your favorites if you like what you hear, there's more on it's way!
